Hello, fellow travellers!
We are Samantha and Jason, and we have been travel bloggers and travel entrepreneurs since 2012. Below are some important facts that we think you might be interested in.
What is Mytanfeet-travels.com about?
Before we answer, let us give you some context...
We have been travel bloggers for over 10 years, and we mainly focus on Costa Rica, a place where we spend most of our time.
Our first website, Mytanfeet.com, is our proud project, and we publish only Costa Rica content. We book services for all our awesome readers, and thanks to that, we have been blessed to build a small team that shares the same customer service passion and we are able to make a living from it.
In 2024, we decided to start documenting all our global travels using the voice and style of our first blog, and that is where Mytanfeet-travels was born.
Our mission with Mytanfeet-travels is to share our passion for traveling, share all our planning tips, itineraries, stories, and most importantly, make our readers' time worthwhile with quality content.
We don't like to talk too much about ourselves because we are just ordinary people, but here are some basic facts about us.
Who are Samantha and Jason?
Samantha was born to Taiwanese parents who immigrated to the United States in the 80s. She was raised in Washington state and lived there until 2012, when she moved to Costa Rica.
She loves animals, playing piano, listening to music, surfing, tennis, running and Zelda. It was always her dream to study or live abroad at some point of her life and Costa Rica just happened to fulfill that dream. She speaks English, Mandarin and Spanish.
Jason, on the other hand, was born and raised in Costa Rica. His father was a Korean fisherman, and his mom was a Costa Rican school teacher.
He loves everything related to tech, cars, motorcycles, guitars, and aviation. Traveling has been the best medicine to deal with anxiety and the best school to come up with new business ideas.
Fun fact: The real spelling of his name is Yeison, but he got tired of not knowing when people were calling him due to all the different pronunciations. So, just to make sure he responds to his name, we will use the English spelling of his name.
We will be adding more content to our about page as we grow this blog. In the meantime, if you have any questions or want to say hi, please contact us.
